Final ratings week begins

Ratings: It was another win for Seven in Total People, but Nine won the Demos.

Ep 10 Press-21The final week of the 2013 ratings week is now underway.

But first to last week’s results.

It was another win for Seven in Total People, but Nine won the Demos -which is precisely how the year will also stack up.

Nine News (Saturday) was the week’s top show at 1.47m viewers. Dancing with the Stars was at #2 with 1.23m and The Bachelor: The Final Decision was #3 at  1.18m.

Nine won the demos 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54.

Seven won every night except Saturday, which fell to Nine. ABC bettered TEN on Monday, Friday and Saturday.

Seven ranked first in Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Nine took Sydney and Melbourne.

This Saturday is the final day of the ratings survey and summer begins on Sunday.

Looks like channel 7 have well and truly taken out the years ratings again in total people watching, they obviously have the right mix of shows to suit all ages and don’t rely on repeats and repeats and repeats, and then a few odd average shows to keep afloat. Hope that 10 can lift it’s game next year and do very well.

  2. I know how people love to pick on Ten, so I might as well say, well done to them for beating the ABC for the majority of the week. So it should be “TEN battered ABC on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, rather than “ABC bettered TEN on Monday, Friday and Saturday”. lol

    1. Clew: I think most people accept that TEN should be in third position so I have traditionally reported when ABC pips a commercial broadcaster. If you’re suggesting we now congratulate them when they beat the ABC it says much more than you probably intended.
