Walkley Awards 2013: winners

ABC, SBS and Seven were recognised at the Walkleys and Caroline Jones is awarded Outstanding Contribution to Journalism.

crjoABC, SBS and Seven were recognised at the 2013 Walkley Awards last night in Brisbane.

Amongst the winners were Foreign Correspondent for their “Prisoner X” scoop, Lateline and 7:30 as well as wins for Insight‘s Jennie Brockie and a long overdue Outstanding Contribution to Journalism award for Australian Story‘s Caroline Jones.

  1. Some great choices there. I’ve been champioing Caroline Jones for the Logies Hall of Fame for a while. Nice to see Insight recognised too – terrific program. Trevor Bormann is one of the nicest journos in the business and deserving wins for him.
