Seven has the Free to Air premiere of Chicago Fire next week, the US action drama starring our own Jesse Spencer.
This has already screened on Pay TV.
Seven kicks off with a double episode, in place of The Blacklist next Monday night.
In the series premiere, Firefighters, Paramedics and Rescue Squad of Firehouse 51forge headfirst into danger every day to help others. But the pressure of the job can take its toll within the squad and in their personal lives. When tragedy strikes and a fire claims one of their own, there’s plenty of guilt and blame to go around. As they struggle to move on, two teenagers become trapped in a vehicle surrounded by falling debris.
8:30pm Monday, December 9 on Seven.

Love Chicago Fire. I’m sure it will find a loyal audience fast.
Suprised they are going the double ep route after what happened with Revolution on 9….wouldnt more people watch if it was Mon and Tues 8.30??
I’m fine with the networks screening shows like this over Summer. Its still what I would consider premium content, but its not premium enough for ratings period given it has already aired.
Hopefully all the networks do things like this airing content they have rights to but haven’t aired because Foxtel had first run rights.
It creates fresh free to air content for summer.
