Airdate: Top Gear Top Fails

Top Gear’s greatest failures will feature in a 2 part special on BBC Knowledge later this month.

2013-12-05_2137The Top Gear team’s greatest failures will feature in a 2 part special, Top Gear Top Fails, on BBC Knowledge later this month.

No mention of whether moving from SBS to Nine is on their list…

Presented by Richard Hammond, this two-part special offers a hilarious look back at all that Top Gear has (tried to) accomplish, with Richard there to share the laughs and occasional embarrassment. Viewers will be treated to some of the most iconic “ambitious, but rubbish” challenges, as well as many lesser-known, but no less destructive, adventures. Richard will provide insider insight and introductions to the most spectacular fails as Top Gear Top Fails draws from a variety of seasons and specials, mixing shorter, one-off catastrophes with longer, more developed failures.

Fans can look forward to plenty more Top Gear in the coming months with BBC Knowledge gearing up for its annual Top Gear Boxing Day marathon, screening back-to-back Top Gear episodes from 7.30am on December 26.

An all new season of Top Gear will be coming to BBC Knowledge in early 2014, first on Foxtel. And Jeremy Clarkson and James May will be heading down under for Top Gear Festival Sydney, March 8-9, 2014 at Sydney Motorsport Park.

Sunday December 29 at 6.30pm on BBC Knowledge.

  1. “Top Gear Top Fails”, huh?

Will the first segment consist of a screen with the headline “Top Gear Shifts to Channel Nine”, superimposed over a graph of its ratings for the last 3 years?

  2. The move to Nine should be top of the list.

Can’t wait for the new season, there haven’t been any spoilers that I’ve seen. Usually by now something had come up about them recording a test drive or challenge.
