C31 Melbourne and Geelong have announced key locally produced programs in the upcoming Summer Season.

C31 Melbourne and Geelong have announced key locally produced programs in the upcoming Summer Season.

These include a number of brand new first-run programs.

C31 season 81 highlights:
Alki Stevens Show- Join Internet sensation Alki each week for a clever combination of comedy sketches and sneaky, yet hilarious hidden camera pranks. Be sure not to miss the Alki Stevens Show on Monday at 11pm.

REPS – Tune in to a new Australian sit-com based around the life of Jake, a sales rep and his tumultuous work life. REPS is an engaging, comedic and fast paced show that hones in on the various characters and their relationships with each other. Check out Jake’s intriguing and troublesome life. This 6- episode series will premiere on Wednesday 22nd January at 9pm.

Mr Sink Show- Join the light-hearted and humorous Pino Mincone (otherwise known as Mr. Sink) – a 25 year old specialist in home improvement. Each 30 minute Mr Sink Show episode, you will gain practical and cost effective tips on how to renovate and update your home from experts in the field. The 13-episode series airs Tuesdays at 9pm.

Art in Residence- Showcasing the dynamic and colourful Art Culture in the Outer Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, Art in Residence is hosted by Art and Media teacher Nicole Kirkwood. This 6-episode series is the perfect exposure for up and coming Artists and Performers. Catch Art in Residence on Mondays at 7-30pm.

Destination Melbourne- Premiering on Monday the 13th of January as a 3 part special, Discover Your Own Backyard is a holiday guide for local residents highlighting the best festivals, events, art spaces, walking trails, along with stylish and quirky shopping and dining experiences – all happening in Melbourne, all in our own backyard.

Festival of Ideas- The University of Melbourne presents the Festival of Ideas to discuss the importance of a healthy society and the challenges facing our society in this current social and economic climate. This informative series will explore five areas of debate including: Environment, Food and Nutrition, Families, Brains and Mind and Democracy. Festival of ideas will premiere on Friday 20th December at 8:30pm.
