Shaun Micallef and Kat Stewart’s offbeat whodunnit Mr & Mrs Murder has been picked up by Channel 5 in the UK.
The series, which had a limited run earlier this year on TEN, will also air on Sky Living in the UK.
C21 reports it has previously sold to the Viasat Crime Channel, part of the Modern Times Group, in Scandinavia among others.
Channel 5 has previously aired another FremantleMedia drama Wentworth and has already picked up TEN’s upcoming Secrets and Lies.
Despite the good news, Mr & Mrs Murder isn’t returning to TEN but Shaun Micallef will return to ABC1 with more Mad as Hell.
Amended.

Ten are dumb. They should do more episodes.
Moody Christmas is also airing on Sky Living in the UK.
Actually RTL sold C5 to Richard Desmond a few years ago.
Channel 5 is owned by RTL, same parent company as Fremantle. Just recouping some of their deficit.
Good point.
I actually didn’t mind this show it was a different type of comedy/drama show, am happy it has been picked up overseas.
A Moody Christmas is the show Hulu has picked up not Mr & Mrs Murder.
Great news, it was a great little show. Was a shame it did not rate better here.
