The 56th Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast from Los Angeles’ Staple Centre live on FOX8 later this month.
The three hour broadcast, hosted by two-time Grammy nominee LL Cool J, will feature performances by some of the biggest musical acts from around the globe including Katy Perry, who has two nominations for Song Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Roar”, Robin Thicke, who is up for three awards including Record Of The Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Blurred Lines”, Kendrick Lamar, Pink , FUN and three-time Grammy winner Pharrell Williams, who has a massive seven nominations at this year’s awards.
The most anticipated performance of the night will be from New Zealand’s breakout star of 2013, sixteen-year-old Lorde who has been nominated for four awards which include Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Royals” and Best Pop Vocal Album for “Pure Heroine”.
Legendary 25-time Grammy winner Stevie Wonder will entertain the star studded audience with a medley of some of his biggest hits joining eight-time Grammy winning group Metallica, whose album Metallica Through The Never (Music From The Motion Picture) is nominated for Best Recording Package.
