  1. David Knox January 12, 2014 at 12:18 pm -

Correct. Which is a one day figure, not an average for the week. You understand how averaging works right?

  2. William January 12, 2014 at 12:17 pm -

David Knox, Studio 10 got 73,000 on one day last week

  3. David Knox January 12, 2014 at 10:34 am -

William your numbers are incorrect. Studio 10 averaged 58,000 last week.

  4. William January 11, 2014 at 11:30 pm -

@trev – Studio 10 is improving in figures so I doubt Studio 10 will be dropped and besides its been on air for 2 months and it has seen a big massive upwards. Its averaging 75,000 per week now. Wake Up needs more time but Studio 10 could well and truly be in 100,000s shortly.
@brad80- see Adam Boland’s twitter account for ratings.
@WolfieBoy – Include V8s on to that list in 2015.

  5. trev January 11, 2014 at 9:08 pm -

@ brad80, Wake Up and Studio 10 both in reverse.
Despite the spin from 10′s lackeys, neither show will be here this time next year, more than likely gone by Easter.

  6. trev January 11, 2014 at 9:01 pm -

Let’s not get too carried away with 10′s improved fortune. Take out the BBL and what’s left? Nothing.

When you consider the pap that the other channels are foisting on us, what hope has 10 when the ratings season recommences and they return to normal programming? The answer…..Buckley’s.

  7. The Moops January 11, 2014 at 7:20 pm -

Ten’s gamble on BBL is certainly paying dividends for them.

  8. brad80 January 11, 2014 at 6:18 pm -

Gallop had to only look at when the Big Bash was on Fox exclusive last year how it flogged the A-League how it was going to beat it when it went to FTA??

  9. brad80 January 11, 2014 at 6:15 pm -

How is Wake Up going against Sunrise and Today?

  10. WolfieBoy January 11, 2014 at 5:26 pm -

Ten is reaping the rewards for taking on BBL Cricket. Big plus it is on at night – a bonus for ratings. Ten knows that from Sat night footy years ago.

The share price has risen 9 cents from 2 month ago – the ASX made an enquiry as to why – to Ten. Obviously those financiers don’t watch T20 Cricket.

My son is a cricket fanatic for Test Cricket and also one day matches and he is taken in by BBL T20 Cricket now as well.

Ten is turning over for better times in the next 12 month I think with the Winter Olympics and Commonwealth Games coming as well :-)

  11. ohdenny January 11, 2014 at 3:57 pm -

    Money well spent it seems.

  12. MJL January 11, 2014 at 1:56 pm -

And David Gallop said the A League would dominate the Big Bash lol

Was a great day when the NRL sacked him as CEO. He’s a dud.

  13. Shoudy Chen January 11, 2014 at 12:32 pm -

Channel TEN’s Big Bash League was so far the best for Perth viewers.

  14. David Knox January 11, 2014 at 12:06 pm -

The super over, which ran for 15 minutes, had a capital city audience of 950,000.

  15. kimbeth January 11, 2014 at 12:00 pm -

The BBL’s first super over turned out to be a fizzer as a contest but no doubt it will give the BBL a further boost and over the next few years viewer numbers will grow further.

  16. DanR January 11, 2014 at 11:49 am -

Maybe Ten’s luck is beginning to improve. They’ve never been more competitive over Summer. If their multi-channels were better performers, they could’ve won the night.
