The Australian Communications and Media Authority has released the Broadcasting Financial Results (BFR) report 2011-12.
It is produced using information provided to the ACMA by commercial broadcasters to satisfy their disclosure requirements under the Broadcasting Services Act 1992 in relation to the collection of broadcasting licence fees.
There have been significant spending shifts in News and Current Affairs, Light Entertainment and Documentaries (the latter in the negative).

It also counts as Aust. Content
Why am I not surprised. 7 and 9 are almost becoming news and light entertainment channels during the day. Why is that? Is news cheaper to produce? The fact that news rates well and they’re producing more of it?
