Narrated by Anjelica Huston, this traces the history of the Academy Awards, with a who’s-who of Hollywood interviews.

Written, directed and executive produced by Oscar-winning filmmakers Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman And the Oscar® Goes to… is packed with defining moments from 85 years of Academy Award ceremonies, featuring extensive clips from Oscar-winning and nominated films as well as exclusive, behind-the-scenes ceremony footage from the archives – much of it never shown before.

Academy Award-winning and nominated actors and actresses including Annette Bening, Ellen Burstyn, Cher, George Clooney, Benicio Del Toro, Whoopi Goldberg, Tom Hanks, Jennifer Hudson, Sir Ben Kingsley and Dame Helen Mirren reveal anecdotes from the set, while award-winning filmmakers and producers Steven Spielberg, Kathleen Kennedy, Freida Lee Mock, Michael Moore, Jason Reitman and Phil Alden Robinson recount intimate memories from their filmmaking careers.
