It will broadcast the event to be held at ANZ Stadium in August and live stream online and across mobile devices.

“As the official Broadcast Partner for the Foxtel A-League All Stars v Juventus FC match, Seven puts us in the mainstream of the Australian sports calendar. The network’s commitment to first-class sports coverage production will add plenty of gloss to the occasion and be welcomed by viewers in Australia and around the world.”

Tim Worner, the CEO of the Seven Network, said: “We are once again delighted to be involved with David Gallop and Football Federation Australia in delivering this major event live to Australians everywhere and on every device. We are committed to building our presence in major sports events across not just our broadcast television platform but online and other tablet apps as well. 1. I bet it will be broadcast in HD as well. While we continue to watch SD for all other shows and Football. It’s time for FTA to get there act together SBS has a HD channel what about the rest you?

  2. Ah yes, Seven’s continuing commitment to the roundball game: a single match every year (two if we’re lucky), but only when a foreign behemoth deigns to visit our shores for a meaningless friendly.

Incidentally, a friendly constitutes a “major sports event”?
