Wayward Pines coming to FX

FX will screen the upcoming thriller from M. Night Shyamalan, starring Matt Dillon, later this year.

The series stars Matt Dillon, Juliette Lewis, Terence Howard and Melissa Leo, and is based on the bestselling novel ‘Pines’ by Blake Lewis.

FX has seen strong, steady growth since its launch in 2012, driven by the record smashing, world-wide phenomenon drama series The Walking Dead. Currently playing within minutes of the U.S. broadcast, Season 4 is up 14% from Season 3 and continues to grow, solidifying its position as the number one show on FX and one of the biggest drama series on Foxtel. Year on year, FX is up +72% in total audience and 54% in FXs target demographic m25-54.

FX also welcomes back new seasons of continuing premium drama series – critically acclaimed Justified; David S. Goyer’s Da Vinci’s Demons; crime thriller The Bridge, and the highly anticipated The Walking Dead, all Australian premieres and express from the U.S.

Other titles returning and new to FX include; The Following, American Horror Story – Coven, House of Lies, Sons of Anarchy, Criminal Minds, Breaking Bad, Hell on Wheels and Transporter – The Series.
