Will there be any more Black Mirror?

A movie and three new episodes for Charlie Brooker's twisted anthology series.

2014-02-07_0837Writer Charlie Brooker has not ruled out more of his twisted British anthology series Black Mirror.

Channel 4’s head of comedy Phil Clarke told Radio Times that he hopes to have a Black Mirror one-off film to transmit in the UK in late 2014. A full series of three new episodes would then follow in 2015.

“That is definitely the hope,” said Clarke. “Though of course a lot depends on whether Charlie Brooker finds the time to do them.”

All episodes explore the dark and troubling side of technology and are self-contained stories with completely different casts.

“There will be more – I don’t think I’m allowed to say quite when,” Brooker recently said.

“There’s going to be some and then there’s going to be some more – you’ll get one helping and then there’ll be another helping.”

The critically-acclaimed series with self-contained stories has aired in Australia on STUDIO and SBS.
