Airdate: 2014 Milan San Remo, Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix cycling

Plus: Amstel Gold Race, Liege-Bastogne-Liege -all coming to SBS ONE.

2014-03-19_2320SBS will show five of cycling’s spring classic races Live throughout March and April, including the Milan-San Remo, Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix, Amstel Gold Race and Liege-Bastogne-Liege.

The races are widely considered some of the oldest and most-prestigious one-day races on the cycling calendar. Australia Simon Gerrans, Simon Clarke, Nathan Haas and Adam Hansen will all be competing for top honours in the Amstel Gold Race while Gerrans will also line up for the Liege-Bastogne-Liege.

Milan San Remo (Italy) is Live from 12:30am Monday 24 March on SBS ONE with live streaming online at www.sbs.com.au/cyclingcentral.

Tour of Flanders (Belgium) is Live from 12:00am Monday 7 April on SBS ONE with live streaming online at www.sbs.com.au/cyclingcentral.

Paris-Roubaix (France) is Live from 9:30pm Sunday 13 April SBS ONE with live streaming online at www.sbs.com.au/cyclingcentral. It will be hosted by award-winning cycling journalist Michael Tomalaris with former professional cyclist Henk Vogels. Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen will provide commentary.

Amstel Gold Race (Netherlands) is Live from 11:05pm Sunday 20 April on SBS ONE with live streaming online at www.sbs.com.au/cyclingcentral.

Liege-Bastogne-Liege (Belgium) is Live from 10:35pm Sunday 27 April on SBS ONE with live streaming online at www.sbs.com.au/cyclingcentral. It will be hosted by Michael Tomalaris and former professional cyclist David McKenzie.

  1. It’s great that SBS has bought a package with the big name races but most of my favourite races are the ones they didn’t buy.
    Damn Foxtel for dropping Eurosport.
    My only option is to pay for a streaming app (streaming + regional Qld are not a good mix) for about $80.’infuriating.
