2014-03-04_1525Food presenter Lyndey Milan, who has previously been seen on SBS, has a new cooking series coming to 7TWO later this month.

Lyndey Milan’s Taste of Australia is her fifth series since 2011 and is produced by Flame Productions.

Following the success of Lyndey and Blair’s Taste of Greece, Lyndey Milan’s Taste of Ireland, and Lyndey and Herbie’s Moveable Feast, comes Lyndey Milan’s Taste of Australia.

Join much-loved TV personality Lyndey Milan as she unearths the people and places that make up the backbone of the thriving Australian culinary culture.

Set against Australia’s diverse climate and vast landscapes, Lyndey sets out to experience the very best food and wine this country has to offer. Lyndey goes on Murray Cod fishing expeditions in the Snowy Mountains, learns the secrets of Aboriginal bush tucker in Albury, and rubs shoulders with world renowned chefs in the Margaret River for the Gourmet Escape weekend.

“It was great to catch up and cook with old mates like Rick Stein, Tetsuya and Neil Perry,” says Lyndey.

“But I really loved meeting the often unsung heroes like the farmers, winemakers and food producers who are creating really amazing produce from what they grow and tend to with their own hands.”

Sunday March 16 at 1.30pm on 7TWO.

Lyndey Milan is one of Australia’s greatest food and wine experts. A very under rated talent. I am looking forward to seeing the show.
