Kylie to perform at Logie Awards
Kylie Minogue will perform at the Logie Awards in her first appearance in more than 25 years.

She was the youngest ever Gold Logie winner but next month Kylie Minogue will perform at the Logie Awards.
The former Neighbours star has not appeared at the awards since 1988.
Kylie Minogue said, “I can’t believe it’s been over 25 years since I had the pleasure of attending the TV Week Logie Awards. It’s been a while, but I’m ecstatic to let you know that I will be celebrating Australian television’s night of nights and treating you to a world-wide premiere performance of my new single at this year’s event! I can’t wait to see you there and I wish all the nominees the very best of luck!”
“The Logies and Kylie go hand-in-hand,” TV Week editor Emma Nolan says. “We’re thrilled to see her back. Her special headline performance is sure to be a memorable one.”
Minogue’s appearance is expected to coincide with the season launch of The Voice, for which she serves as coach. Don’t suppose we could get another stab at Sisters are Doing it for Themselves with Dannii?
British singer John Newman will also perform at the event on April 27.
Nominees will be announced on March 31st.

I remember Jesse J being fantastic at the logies. As for Kylie at the logies…..Im sure it has nothing to do with the Voice!!
I love the music on the Logies. Bruno Mars was great last year and I remember Jessie J got everyone dancing a few years ago.

Actually, John Newman is Sam Newman’s real name. I wonder if he would do a cover of Jacko’s I’m An Individual?
Whether she brings her auto-tune with her or not, it will still be a dull performance. I have never seen a performance at the Logies where I have gone “wow” at the end, because they can never, ever seem to get the sound right. The music is louder than the lead singer, the backing vocals are drowned out, and it sounds hollow like tinny.

It will be a fantastic night for Kylie Minogue to perform a song live @ the Logies.
I guessed that when I knew she will be starring in the Voice..
Good to have Minogue back at the Logies after so many years away from it.
However, I still think that The Voice should launch its season the following week than on Logies night. Let the nights of nights shine on its own.
