@aesthetic – Wednesday Nights The Block is the Challenge Show, there’s a lot less interest and people tune out for that every week (it has risen though from the 950,000 or so it was getting a couple of weeks back).

  2. randwick March 13, 2014 at 10:13 pm -

Why do Ten continue with Biggest Loser, sytycd, the project and Have you been paying attention, when they know they are such utter turkeys?

  3. Angela March 13, 2014 at 12:51 pm -

“If Puberty Blues was on Seven or Nine it would be getting 1m+ per week, which is what the numbers should be, given all the hype and the quality of the drama and cast.”

    For sure.
Am loving the second season so far – one of those rare shows that you can become fully immersed in.
A lot darker than Season 1 but just as good.
Brenna Harding is absolutely luminous and exceptional as the rebellious Sue Knight.

  4. Secret Squirrel March 13, 2014 at 12:41 pm -

What Dr_Rudi said altho’ I tuned back in for The Last Leg.

  5. isww March 13, 2014 at 11:33 am -

@ aesthetic – The Block picks up viewers on a Sunday as it’s Room Reveal night. It becomes a more interesting watch as there is a result at stake and has the peak number of viewers for a week for the show. It’s numbers fade Mon – Thur.

  6. jayjay95 March 13, 2014 at 11:27 am -

I like Spicks and Specks but the reason why it has low viewers was because viewers are incredibly stubborn and won’t bear to think of an S&S without Adam, Alan and Myf. Give the new version a go and you will be surprised. I have resorted to watching it on iView because Puberty Blues is on at the same time.

If Puberty Blues was on Seven or Nine it would be getting 1m+ per week, which is what the numbers should be, given all the hype and the quality of the drama and cast.

  7. Dr_Rudi March 13, 2014 at 11:25 am -

Micallef was good last night; Spicks was okay; I gave up on The Moodys.

  8. MM March 13, 2014 at 10:55 am -

Think the reason that The Block beat MKR once was the Truck segment, this does not seem to be a popular thing with the viewers, it is back again next week according to the promos so will be interesting to see if it looses viewers again.

  9. Billy C March 13, 2014 at 10:49 am -

Spicks and Specks is in trouble. I used to watch it and then the things I liked more were often on afterwards. Now I switch off after Mad as Hell. They should let Mad as Hell run all year. It’s brilliant. Or put it on after Spicks and Specks.

  10. aesthetic. March 13, 2014 at 10:12 am -

I thought the block was going to start beating MKR in a regular basis but it doesnt look like happening much again if at all.

  11. David Knox March 13, 2014 at 9:50 am -

    Spicks 408,000

Puberty Blues struggled to rise up to 500K.
