Abuse lawsuit names additional Hollywood execs

A lawsuit filed against Hollywood director / producer Bryan Singer, now includes 3 more Hollywood execs.

2014-04-22_1809A lawsuit filed against Hollywood director / producer Bryan Singer, now includes additional Hollywood executives, accused by Michael F. Egan III of sexual abuse in the 1990s.

Egan, who has accused the X Men and House producer of assaulting him at parties in California and Hawaii when he was 17, has now added three executives: Garth Ancier, David Neuman and Gary Goddard.

Ancier is a prominent television executive who has held senior positions at FOX and NBC. Neuman is a former senior Walt Disney television executive while Goddard is the founder of a firm that designs theme park attractions, hotels and resorts and produces live shows.

The LA Times reports the claims made “about Bryan Singer are completely fabricated,” Marty Singer, a lawyer for the director, said in an email last week. “We look forward to our bringing a claim for malicious prosecution against Mr. Egan and his attorney after we prevail.”

An attorney for Singer has called the lawsuit against his client “absurd and defamatory.”

Egan is now 31. His lawyer, Jeff Herman, was also the attorney behind the 2012 lawsuit filed against former Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash.
