Is Gruen Planet coming back?
Wil Anderson focusses on stand-up and the producer becomes an ABC exec -so where does that leave Gruen?

The future of Gruen Planet is under discussion between producers Cordell Jigsaw Zapruder and the ABC.
Wil Anderson has mentioned in a few press articles recently that he is taking some time off to concentrate on his stand up.
At the same time exec producer Jon Cassimir is departing CJZ to become ABC TV’s new Head of Entertainment as from next week.
Even Russel Howcroft is a TEN exec, although thankfully that did not get in the way of a series last year.
But the moves don’t necessarily mean no more Gruen per se.
A spokesperson from CJZ told TV Tonight, “Yes (Wil Anderson) will be taking time off to concentrate on his stand up and yes the show will return. We are in discussions with everyone about dates.”
Whether that means this year is unclear, although Channel Controller Brendan Dahill had previously suggested as much.
Maybe the show will return as a limited run series for elections and similar events…?
What would Putin do?

I think it could probably be rested for a year, and come back. Sometimes it feels like they are making the points over and over again.
What TasTVcameraman said.
One of the best shows around.
Well informed Regular panel is great and respected guests add their specialised knowledge.
In the past has good numbers for ABC.
Clever tag David … 🙂
