Janet King had some great performances as well as some ‘now we’re only acting’ moments. Vince Colosimo gave away his dodgy character way too early in the piece, so the shock, horror, reveal moment was totally anticipated. But I found it extremely disappointing that the highly principled main character JK, settled for the happy ending in which the department was rewarded with extra funding for keeping quiet about the amoral police chief. How is this in harmony with Janet’s raison d’être?
