Returning: RuPaul’s Drag Race

The one and only RuPaul returns to SBS 2 for another 15 episodes of  RuPaul’s Drag Race as 12 US drag queens compete in a Reality beauty quest.

This is season 3 which aired in the US in 2011.

Each contestant must strive to embody the charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent that made RuPaul an international drag superstar. The judges will determine the bottom two contestants of the week. Those contestants then compete in a show-stopping battle-royal ‘lip-synch for your life’ performance to determine who will stay and who will go until one is crowned America’s next Drag Queen Superstar.

Episode One: The Queen Who Mopped Xmas
Twelve new queens arrive to compete for the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar. In the premiere episode, the dolls must create their jolliest holiday couture using thrift store items and holiday decorations. RuPaul is joined by special guest judges Vanessa Williams, Mike Ruiz and Bruce Vilanch as Santa.
