The Millers is not a bad show on TEN
Modern Family was good new eps.

  2. randwick April 28, 2014 at 7:00 pm -

@bettestreep2008 – I noticed a blatant plug for Bondi rescue on Angela bishops promo for the MF episode ….. very blatent ….

People ….. MF still did only a best of 644,000 …. at 8pm…..still very low …. take things into perspective … Elementary did crap as well

  3. Maev....Sydney April 28, 2014 at 1:36 pm -

Guess I was the only person watching Escape to the Country…I watched the end of the Logies…
    Will watch Downton on catchup….

  4. andrewb April 28, 2014 at 1:22 pm -

Looking at Perth – just under half the number of people watching the Logies watched Back to the Future on 7mate! I bet the Logies would do better there if live or at least airing simultaneously with east coast.

  5. marcey April 28, 2014 at 12:34 pm -

The logies haven’t left the 90′s. Ten’s MF to The Millers had a bit of decline.
I watched start of The Millers what lot of rubbish.

  6. WolfieBoy April 28, 2014 at 10:45 am -

So happy Ten were smart to show that Australian special be4 The Millers. That is how you do it Ten. Good work – those shows deserve the ratings achieved against stiff compotetion. :-)
Nine sucks with their connections to tv week, even though Bauer owns those magazines. People are choosing what they like and Nine repeats after repeats is starting to turn viewers off.
Congratulations to 7 for changing MKR’s after flagging audiences back to home restaurant whichviewers like. That is smart production and programming. Well done 7. :-)

  7. MM April 28, 2014 at 10:35 am -

Really poor ratings for The Logies, same boring night each year, perhaps another channel might do better, would be interested to see how the voting goes then, Sunday Night and Downton Abbey were my choice for the night, much more interesting.

  8. Intell32 April 28, 2014 at 10:25 am -

    in ratings

  9. bettestreep2008 April 28, 2014 at 10:22 am -

wow – MF finally back to the figures it deserves.

And I think the Millers did fine up against the MKR.

Obviously a decent lead in doesn’t hurt.

Shame Ten wasted the night with that goddawful MF special with Angela Bishop.

  10. Intell32 April 28, 2014 at 10:14 am -

How was the 3rd AACTA Awards compared to the Logies?

  11. steviem April 28, 2014 at 10:09 am -

    I enjoyed the Logies.
I enjoyed Modern Family on TEN
    I enjoyed MKR.

Alot of people have invested soooooooo much time in MKR you cant turn off now. So was always going to be between 1.8-2million mark.

Modern Family was excellent and a great result for TEN.

Most people do not respect the Logies and dont care for it. I know alot of people i know that I ask also believe its “rigged” and the only people who vote are networks buying votes or young people so dont care for its outcomes. Having said that personally, very thrilled Scott Cam won, his a nice guy and it wasnt Asher Keddie!!!!

  12. Gaz April 28, 2014 at 10:04 am -

I only watched about an hour of Logies, instead watching MKR, and Downton Abbey. From what I saw though, it was a dismal production. Time to hand it over to another Network for a change I think.

  13. Intell32 April 28, 2014 at 9:51 am -

Logies did not even crack the million mark, that was probably due to it going for so long and not everyone staying for the whole night since it ends in 11:30, I did not bother watching it and I am going to watch it online today.

  14. Bass_A April 28, 2014 at 9:49 am -

Wow not bad for Modern Family and Ten considering the competition, 9′s Logies did quite poorly

  15. Intell32 April 28, 2014 at 9:45 am -

Would have expected higher rating for MKR since it was Semi- Final, it reached 2mill. many times in Instant Restaurant round and also one time in Ultimate Instant round. Ten, even though they had only 15% did pretty good having Modern Family: Australia cracking the million viewers mark and having 8 shows in the Top 20!

  16. johntv April 28, 2014 at 9:37 am -

Ouch.. that’s gonna hurt.. The Logies didn’t even break the million mark. A lot of money spent for very little return; but those numbers are pretty much what it deserved.

Maybe it is time to bring the Logies into this decade and make them more relevant to the viewing audience instead of the people in the room. The music numbers were bad, have no connection to the Australian TV industry and pointless for the ‘stars’ in the room.

Makes you wonder if Nine will continue to show them in the future or if they do, it will be on a reduced scale

  17. Shoudy Chen April 28, 2014 at 9:26 am -

MKR beat TV Week Logies. What a strong win for Seven.
