I agree with BellJay. Thank you David for the figures including the extra.

I’d like to thank the ABC for the News, the former The 7.30 Report, Foreign Correspondent, Lateline, Four Corners and Media Watch.

I’m glad they overcame the audio problems on the News. By the way I don’t know if what was done tonight will affect the ratings positively or negatively. I did look at the start, before I went out, of the former The 7.30 Report due to curiosity and the viewers that gave it a go might overlook it. As it started strongly. I will never be a fan of that trick. Oh well.

  2. catherine April 23, 2014 at 7:17 pm -

Can I just say Parenthood is becoming on my favourite shows and I hope its commissioned for another series.

That second episode was just a really nice episode and its good it tackles real life problems.

  3. JoeBloggs April 23, 2014 at 5:02 pm -

7 news Melbourne only lost 250,000+ viewers without the public holiday and football lead in!

  4. Jake S April 23, 2014 at 1:55 pm -

Sky News seems to be doing well lately, with both it’s primetime shows in the top 20.

  5. marc April 23, 2014 at 12:02 pm -

I can’t eat anymore – help! – those cooking shows filled me up to the throat- I feel the need for being bulimic – please someone reach me a long finger

  6. marc April 23, 2014 at 11:46 am -

I hope Seven will be selling the amazing MKR overseas, now it has become extremely successful. Just ring Red Arrow, they just bought House Rules lol

  7. bettestreep2008 April 23, 2014 at 11:42 am -

Jamie and Jimmy’s Fight club appears to be rating worse than TBL.

But then again what would you expect when you put a cooking show up against MKR – a show which shows contestants complain, bitch, moan, cry, have nervous breakdowns.

Oh and there is something called “cooking” on it as well.

  8. marc April 23, 2014 at 11:41 am -

But hey, this year will be very different! This time we will have a woman with short hair and a male with long hair. No worries, we will not have any changes in terms of colour! We will only show the reality how everyone expects it

  9. BellJay April 23, 2014 at 11:39 am -

Thanks for the extra ratings info David. Appreciated.

  10. andrewb April 23, 2014 at 11:37 am -

re: MKR – of course its going to go off now – near the end and nothing else on!

  11. marc April 23, 2014 at 11:37 am -

    @Iloveit & Shoudy Chen
    Ha haha
No one would realise if they would repeat old shows. It’s all the same botched up & boring Australian reality blabla…

  12. Den April 23, 2014 at 11:36 am -

Those TBBT repeat ratings are embarrassing. No wonder Nine schedules so many episodes.

  13. Evan43 April 23, 2014 at 11:18 am -

MKR will get over 2 million viewers tonight, with the twins doing the instant restaurant thing.
Like em or hate em, Chloe/Kelly and Helena/Vicki are obviously bringing in the viewers.

  14. Intell32 April 23, 2014 at 10:49 am -

The Block, Resurrection, The Big Bang Theory have cracked the 2 million mark.

  15. nik c April 23, 2014 at 10:44 am -

    Really? MKR over 2 million?
This is why 7 keep showing this and stringing it out…. People actually watch it?!?
It pollutes the advertising spaces for 5 months or more!

  16. ilovetv April 23, 2014 at 10:35 am -

MKR is an unstoppable force. I think it will get 2.2 tonight for final 5 elimination and is on the upward trend towards finale.

  17. aesthetic. April 23, 2014 at 10:20 am -

Impressive for MKR, I thought viewers were going to drop off for some reason. Will break 2m again tonight.

  18. Shoudy Chen April 23, 2014 at 10:19 am -

That was a fantastic night on MKR with the only show cracking the 2 million Mark.
