    @officially_k
    You can see that overnight ratings that tell that Nine wins Seven by 3%. But when it comes to fortnight ratings, Seven wins over Nine. And Nine can be quite proud of their ratings for this year. On the other side, Seven had some fantastic ratings like MKR, Mrs Browns Boys, HAA and its news. With MKR Grand Finale a few weeks away, expect to see stronger ratings.

  2. David Knox April 10, 2014 at 3:22 pm -

    It’s never been live, staging requirements tend to dictate this. Voting lines would be closed before the recording so she is correct in saying they are closed. They would re-open again after the next contenders are put forward.

  3. ryan April 10, 2014 at 3:02 pm -

    So basically it’s not live then. so now I’m confused, Carrie says on Thursdays voting lines are now closed so doesn’t that mean people are voting for their favourite 2 days after its been decided.

  4. AAAdelaide April 10, 2014 at 2:26 pm -

    I still don’t understand why a million more people watch Home and Away as opposed to Neighbours. The end of the day, they share each others stories and the similarities are quite prominent, so why the big gap in audience? I have to agree with you Angela, last night’s episode of Puberty Blues was probably one of my favourites yet! Gee Claudia Karvin can act, that scene in the restaurant was very much logie worthy :)

  5. Angela April 10, 2014 at 2:03 pm -

    Puberty Blues excellent as always, last night.

    What a sweetie Woody is – loved the awkward moment at the shopping centre between him, Sue and the bitchy gang .
    ” So what are all you spunky girls up to?”
    Priceless.

    Young Aus actor, Christian Byers, plays him perfectly.

  6. JennyW April 10, 2014 at 1:55 pm -

    I’m surprised Neighbours is at #13. It’s usually in the top five for multichannels.

    @AAAdelaide
    Neighbours’ big drop in the ratings is because a lot of viewers are upset Kate was killed off. See the comments on the Neighbours Facebook page.

  7. AAAdelaide April 10, 2014 at 12:42 pm -

    What is going on with the Neighbours ratings? Poor Kate Ramsay got shot to her death, has been an incredible week and instead of lifting the ratings, it fell to No.13 last night with a whole bunch of rubbish childrens shows beating it. Put it back on channel 10 so the good people of Australia don’t forget about this show!! This network has treated this show disgracefuly, it’s an aussie icon of a show and people don’t watch it anymore because it’s on a digital channel. I’m sad :(

  8. officially_k April 10, 2014 at 12:38 pm -

    @shoudy Chen
    Considering that all channel seven had was mkr and Mrs Brown, and channel nine had a grand final of the biggest show they had and only won by three % tells me that channel nine should be upset with that, to me that’s a win for channel seven. That’s a mammoth tv share for seven, I can’t wait for their final of mkr, judging by the way it’s going so far I have no reason doubting 7 will double the block final and their share will be in the 40’s !

  9. David Knox April 10, 2014 at 12:31 pm -

    Filmed As Live on Tuesdays.

  10. ryan April 10, 2014 at 12:19 pm -

    David do you know if sytycd is really live? prmo says judges don’t know who to choose to leave but it’s that meant to be live?

  11. JimboJones April 10, 2014 at 11:13 am -

    @michaelOz – yes, Mrs Brown’s Boys is terrible, but at least it tries to be funny, which is something that Oz “comedy” doesn’t even try to do.

  12. randwick April 10, 2014 at 10:40 am -

    Ten had one entry in the top 20 …. pathetic …..

  13. David Knox April 10, 2014 at 9:57 am -

    Nine was first.

    Simpsons marathon was 162,000.

  14. maxxdude April 10, 2014 at 9:48 am -

    I don’t understand how Nine ends up with 2nd place for the night when The Block did so well & Nine had 7 shows in the top 10 & 12 in the Top 20 while Seven had 3 in the Top 10 & 7 in the Top 20.

    How does this work?

    BTW congrats to The Block for a stunning finale. Great show last night.

  15. paul95 April 10, 2014 at 9:45 am -

    How did the Numbers look for the Channel 11 Simpsons marathon?

  16. Rutzie April 10, 2014 at 9:41 am -

    Nine splitting The Block into three separate figures is a joke. Nine only winning last night by 3% just shows how strong Seven is at the moment. I thought Nine had this week in the bag but now I’m not so certain.

  17. michaelOz April 10, 2014 at 9:34 am -

    Mrs Browns Boys: Australia, what is wrong with you all???

  18. David Knox April 10, 2014 at 9:27 am -

    Has previously beaten MKR this year. Seven did very well considering.

  19. Shoudy Chen April 10, 2014 at 9:22 am -

    Channel nInes The Block has finally beaten MKR. That’s why The Block completely kills MKR in total people and demographics. And what a mammoth tv share for Nine.
    With The Voice AUS and Arrow returning in a few weeks time, Channel Nine can expect strong ratings especially for Perth viewers

  20. David Knox April 10, 2014 at 9:17 am -

    Does not include overruns for The Block.
