After 1245 episodes and almost five years, The Project farewells Charlie Pickering on Monday night. From Tuesday Wil Anderson joins as special guest co-host (one of several names suggested by TV Tonight as a perfect replacement).
Join us as we look back at some of Charlie’s favourite moments, plus Steve Price sits down for a one-on-one one chat to ask him 10 questions he’s been dying to know the answers to.
The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is in full swing. Dropping by The Project desk this week is Frank Woodley, Scotland’s biggest export Kevin Bridges and Tom Ballard.
Aussie actor and director Brendan Cowell joins us on Thursday as our guest panellist.
So You Think You Can Dance Australia judge, Shannon Hotzapffel, joins us to preview this week’s episode.
6.30pm weeknights on TEN.

I love Will Anderson, he will be great. Dying to know what the 10 questions will be.
I think Tom Ballard would be an excellent choice as host. He was great on Triple J.
I am going to be a blubbering mess when I watch Monday night’s show. Gonna miss Charlie so much! 🙁
I may actually watch this now, though Carrie is still a huge turnoff.
No chance at all that Wil takes a full time role, as his future is in the USA. Just need to listen to a few eps of his excellent FOFOP/TOFOP podcast to learn that.
I agree with Billy, just a good opportunity to gain some more exposure for the his MICF show.
No surprise he has a 1000 seat theatre in Melbourne to sell for a month and no doubt further dates around the country after that.
I could see him as the regular host but does he have a contract with ABC.
Wil is not based in Melbourne. Recently said he is focussed on stand-up career so Gruen is likely to be delayed. I doubt he is in the mood for 5 nights and 40 weeks of Project. Next week works because he is at Melb. Comedy Festival.
Please, please, please…make him permanent. He would be perfect!
