What happened to New SVU last night? We are 4 episodes behind and yet Ten can’t show a new ep after a Masterchef episode!

  2. Shoudy Chen May 9, 2014 at 5:24 pm -

What a fantastic night for Master Chef with the show getting over the million mark.

  3. WolfieBoy May 9, 2014 at 4:36 pm -

Ten take note: Masterchef on a Thursday will lift the ratings to where they deserve to be. Think about it ! As predicted by many on this Blog, David Knox provides.
Rove still lifting the Project ratings, something else to think about as well.
Make the right decisions Ten and a real recovery could be on its way :-)

Seven – want to kill your main channel keep putting on house auction shows and boring real estate pgms like on 72 which has damaged that once excellent channel :-(

  4. marcey May 9, 2014 at 12:44 pm -

Seven views had seam to go watch Ten last night.
Not looking to good for HR next week.

  5. Maev....Sydney May 9, 2014 at 12:28 pm -

I can hear the cheering from TEN …from here!

  6. DanR May 9, 2014 at 12:27 pm -

When Ten fix 6-7pm and their confused multi-channels which are big under performers, they may even win the odd night in network shares.

  7. Den May 9, 2014 at 12:22 pm -

    @bettestreep2008
Ah thanks I forgot about that.
I just realised there is no MCA on Thursdays next week. Are Masterclasses no longer part of the show?

I wonder if they’ll rethink this for next year to format it back to the earlier days of Sun-Fri (or make the Masterclass Sat instead since TLR is on Fridays) Since Thursdays hardly ever have any competition

  8. Secret Squirrel May 9, 2014 at 12:03 pm -

The ratings increase for MC is even more remarkable when you consider that ratings for Thu are usually down across the board compared with earlier in the week.

  9. bettestreep2008 May 9, 2014 at 11:07 am -

Den, I believe the Modern Family in Australia episode also rated over 1m.

But before we go gaga over Ten’s good fortune just remember that it really had no competition last night.

And shame the MCA contestant that went home last night didn’t have much air time. He should have had a decent sob story to keep him in the comp.

  10. JennyW May 9, 2014 at 10:52 am -

I’m glad Ten’s doing well in the ratings. I was one of those people who thought Masterchef would flop. Let’s hope Ten doesn’t do something stupid like renew The Biggest Loser which was a flop!

  11. jimbo k May 9, 2014 at 10:47 am -

wpw. I didn’t expect Ten to be so close behind Seven. Well done Ten. Am happy that Master Chef is doing them good favours at the moment.

Seven’s Under the Hammer didn’t do that well.

  12. Damo7 May 9, 2014 at 10:33 am -

    Go MasterChef

  13. Jason May 9, 2014 at 10:29 am -

Wow, TEN less that 1 point behind 7. MChef gets over 1m. Yes, a Thurs but a lot of new eyes checking it out, who may just stay with it. Hopefully.

  14. Den May 9, 2014 at 10:27 am -

Is that TEN’s first million this year? (Other than sports of course)
No competition seems to work well for it.
