Syfy channel has confirmed it will screen Sharknado 2 as a part of a “Global TV Event” on July 31st.
The telemovie sequel is based in New York and the case includes Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, Kelly Osbourne, Judah Friedlander and Andy Dick.
There are no more details on the broadcast time for now, but given Universal (also NBCU owned) is airing Defiance’s second season premiere just 30 minutes after the US, we have cause to be optimistic.

How quickly did they slap this together? They probably spent more time on the CGI than the script, not that it means much if you saw the first one. Still its one of those bad movies you just have to watch and get a good laugh from it LOL
I’m reluctant to say that I’ll be watching. The first one was so bad it was good and I have to see the sequel to see if it can also pull it off. Too bad Cassie Scerbo isn’t in it though – it was good to see her back on TV after the cancellation of Make It Or Break It (FOX8/ABC Family).
