Is Walter White really dead? “Never say never.”

Bryan Cranston neither rules in nor out the possible return of his Breaking Bad character.

2014-05-30_1159Warning, this should not be taken too seriously. But it’s bound to get some traction.

Bryan Cranston was being interviewed on CNN about his role in Godzilla, when anchor Ashleigh Banfield asked him about the final episode of Breaking Bad.

Cranston appeared to graciously entertain her theories, so here’s what unfolded:

“That final scene, that final image… I wasn’t so sure that you died. I really wasn’t,” Banfield said. “Your eyes were open and I thought, ‘What if the police just take him into custody, he gets better, breaks out and just goes nuts?’

“You never saw a bag zip up or anything,” Cranston said.

“No,” said Banfield. “Is he dead?”

“I don’t know,” he said.

“No movie? No nothing? No Walter White ever again?” she asked.

“Never say never,” Cranston quipped.

And there you have it. Three little words.

Let the conspiracy theories begin.

  1. The creator of Breaking Bad, Vince Gilligan has way too much integrity to bring back another series of Breaking Bad, given how the series ended. On a related topic the spin-off “Better Call Saul” is due to debut in November on AMC. I think filming starts in June-July.

But please do in this case!

There was talk of a movie a while ago… but it ended perfectly, no need to change it….
