Season 3 of The Killing, the show that was axed  by AMC then revived, begins on ONE this week.
This aired in the US last June.
Detective Holder and his new partner investigate the murder of a 16-year-old hooker who has been stabbed and had her throat slit. The medical examiner determines that she has defensive wounds and the knife used had a serrated edge.
Holder notices a similarity between this death and one that Sarah Linden investigated a few years before. In that case, Ray Seward was convicted of killing his wife Tricia Ann and is now on death row awaiting execution.
Holder visits her to discuss the case but she’s not keen to reopen a case she solved three years ago. As she reviews Holder’s case she is slowly drawn in.
After the third season it was axed again by AMC before being picked up for a fourth season through Netflix which begins in the US in August.

Yes, brilliant show.
Love the characters of Holder and Linden – chalk and cheese but they complement each other so well..
Judging by the reviews, this series is the best one yet.
Am a big fan of this type of dark, bleak genre.

Great show. Will definitely be watching.
Such an underrated show, well worth watching. S4 is coming out this year on netflix with Joan Allen playing the head of a Military school. Do yourself a favour and record this each Wednesday night 9:30 on One. The network seem to treat its audience with respect and dont chop and change the time each week too like so often happens.
