to be fair, 7 & 9 are always trying to ‘outnews’ each other with the 2-3 hr in the arvo, 6pm news, TT, ACA, the axed 7pm news on 7two etc!, so this clip applies to them too
Wow!! so true.. but I still watch Ten News regularly, cant stand the pompous arrogance of 7 & 9

Cannot believe what I am seeing…and that it is still happening…
They only knew because Ten was in the exact same situation 20 years ago when the sketch was made. Receivership. Newsreaders and bulletins axed or cut to 30 minutes. Then 6 months later back to one-hour bulletins with two newsreaders as if nothing had ever happened. Just the same thing all over again now.
Different decade. Same woes.
Classic, this is exactly the last 3 years at TEN.
A classic. If only we had writers who could produce stuff like this these days.
