Nice to see ten have three shows rate higher than their news. Competition is good!!!!

  2. WolfieBoy May 15, 2014 at 7:03 pm -

The TBBT network has less to offer at this time, so Ten is smart to start Offspring his Wednesday. MC hopefully will do well with the special show tonight as well. It is all about good shows and intelligent launch times and dates/days.

Watching the bikes on SBS30 late at night preparing for my Tour de France addiction – Thanks SBS – I love it and looking forward to the Soccer World Cup shortly. :-)

Masterchef is rating again because Shine and Ten have listened and gone away from drama and concentrated on real cooking again :-)

  3. Paul007 May 15, 2014 at 4:54 pm -

I thought Jonah was terrific. I think it’s brilliant. I am a bit surprised at the lack of ratings. We will watch mindless dribble like The Big Bang Theory but smart, sophisticated satire just does not seem to gain much traction.

  4. jvanzoe May 15, 2014 at 4:36 pm -

Well this clearly shows Seven news and 7 in general is actually better than Nine news and 9 in ratings, it’s just nines The Voice that boost there news ratings and all of there ratings lol

  5. Secret Squirrel May 15, 2014 at 11:51 am -

Good start for Offspring, House Rules still only just over a mill even without The Voice taking eyeballs away, and Jonah sinks like the solid gold turd that it is.

  6. D@GP May 15, 2014 at 11:19 am -

Haven’t bothered to watch or time shift Jonah but I assume it’s full of obscenities that Lilley willingly substitutes for wit.

His first outing ‘We Can Be Heroes’ was brilliant.

    Second wasn’t too bad.

    But the rest?

    Rubbish,

  7. jimbo k May 15, 2014 at 10:37 am -

a very good return for Offspring. Masterchef doing well too.

Not a good night for Jonah. I agree that Lilley needs new characters . . .

  8. Evan43 May 15, 2014 at 10:09 am -

I watched Jonah for a little while last night.
    In a word……………..awful!
Chris Lilley needs to develop some new characters for his next series, because JONAH is totally lame and unfunny.

  9. tvf May 15, 2014 at 9:59 am -

Was able to watch offspring just after 10 pm last night on tenplay. That’s the way you run a catch up site channel nine. The baby was absolutely adorable throughout the episode.

They must have a lot of spare time on house rules if they have time to play pranks on each other. I’m also curious about the budgets. Teams frequently mention their budgets but no information on dollar values. Too much time spent seeing the bare bones of the house.

  10. Den May 15, 2014 at 9:48 am -

Very nice for Offspring, and ok for MCA too and a network share over 20%.

  11. tricks May 15, 2014 at 9:46 am -

Wow.. I wasn’t expecting Offspring to do that well. I was guessing 750,000 – 800,000.

Great news for a great show.

  12. DanR May 15, 2014 at 9:45 am -

Offspring will easily rise to 1million+ with catch up viewing and deservedly so. What a brilliant return episode.

  13. David Knox May 15, 2014 at 9:24 am -

Good news for Offspring. Very bad news for Jonah just 287,000.
