Nine moves House Husbands to Sunday nights in just over a week’s time.
The show returns to 9pm Sundays from June 22nd as Live shows for The Voice begin on Monday 23rd.
Trouble has well and truly arrived for the husbands and their families in the form of Belle (Rachel Griffiths), the ex-wife of Lewis (Gary Sweet) and mother of Lucy (Anna McGahan) and Ned (Lincoln Lewis), himself a surprise addition to the Crabb family.
This will see the show going head to head with A Place to Call Home, also at a 9pm timeslot on the 22nd.
Rachel Griffiths makes her first appearance at the end of Monday night’s episode, with Darren McMullen also set to appear this season.
Nine is yet to confirm plans for The Mentalist.

Why must they move shows all over the schedule? I suspect it will jump the shark this week anyway so may fizzle out.
@David Knox, The EPG is indeed on my PVR and the info about The Mentalist was on there yesterday afternoon (Sunday). However there was a big block from 6pm – 10pm titled Nine News Sunday which has since been updated.
At last, something to watch on Sundays. Not being a fan of endless talent quests or building competitions (but love Masterchef), Sundays has become a bleak night for us, whereas not so long ago choices were hard to make.
However HH filled a nice gap on Mondays, so moving it is no help for us !
@carolemorrissey, you are right The Mentalist will screen at 10pm on Sundays according to EPG.
Out of curiosity, is the EPG on your TV screen? Nine embargoes this info until Monday. Be interested to know where it has emerged.
Nine will be stretching out the Voice out on Mondays so HH would be on very late and suffer somewhat.
A Place To Call Home isn’t as strong this season so Nine can move HH to Sundays and compete there and win Monday night with The Voice and The Mentalist up against HR and Bali.
As long as Nine are going to show the season final of POI this season, I’m happy.
I don’t watch HH but want to comment because I’m amused by 9s forward planning! Surely there is someone who works at 9 who knows how to organise programming. Why put a show on for 2 weeks knowing it would have to move 2 weeks later. Just hold off & play it in its entirety on Sundays. Unless a show is flopping moving a show makes no sense. I have to plan ahead in my job so why can’t the people at 9.
Nooo. Revenge has just ended so I thought perfect now I can watch HH on mondays. Now again it is up against a place to call home. Looks like I’ll be taping it and watching it mondays.

Person of Interest is the finale tomorrow night, so they can put The Mentalist on at that time.
New Mentalist time will be confirmed on Monday.
Just keep it on one freaking night!!! But at least something is on Sundays now. Can’t wait for Mondays ep!!

I don’t like the current episodes, but I’d like to see the show out!
A new night and a post 9pm start!? It’s as though they are deliberately trying to sabotage local drama. Mondays were good but will have to timeshift if up against A Place to Call Home.
House Husbands is encored today at 3pm and tomorrow night at 11pm.
If I remember rightly they bumbled it to a different night last year!
I ask: Why start a drama on one night for two eps and then move it? Clearly no thoughtful or forward planning…..

Also glad I gave up on the Mentalist when Red John was revealed so I didn’t get mucked about by your awful programming!
