Lincoln Younes joins Love Child

Another of the 'River Boys' will exit Summer Bay, but undertakes a period role with Nine.

2014-06-06_0046Home and Away star Lincoln Younes has joined the second season of Nine’s Love Child.

Younes finished with the Seven soap a month ago, but will remain on screen for several months.

Confidential reports he will play the love child of one of the main characters on the Playmaker Media drama, after having met producers earlier this year.

Younes has been with the Summer Bay soap since 2011. Seven is yet to announce his exit as Casey Braxton, the second of the ‘River Boys’ to depart.

Love Child is currently filming in Sydney but tipped to air in 2015.

  1. Lincoln is a very fine young actor, as proven in both Tangle and H&A, and so this is a great addition to the Love CHild line-up.
He is also a great guy to work with, so they are lucky to get him.

  2. Interesting two new male characters (Mathew Le Nevez as well) on lovechild. Will be curious what their roles are in what is essentially a female focused show.

Two less Braxtons in home and away is a good thing but I think Braxtons will be still in home and away for a while with Steve Peacocke’s partner Bridgette Sneddon playing a new role.
