CBeebies introduces kids to a world of music and instruments of all shapes and sizes, with Aussie band Lah-Lah.

2014-07-29_1630CBeebies will screen locally-produced children’s series Lah-Lah’s Adventures featuring Australian children’s band Lah-Lah.

The 26 part live series action introduces kids to a world of music and instruments of all shapes and sizes.

Created by former Opera Australia performer Tina Harris and her husband Mark (Monsieur Camembert) the series follows the exploits of lead singer Lah-Lah and band members Buzz and Lola, Squeezy Sneezy, Tom Tom and Mister Saxophone.

Tina Harris plays Lah-Lah – an inquisitive, clever and quirky character that loves to sing. Lah-Lah and her band resolve every day dilemmas that pre-schoolers face. Their comical antics lead them on an exciting journey across Lah-Lah Land gathering clues and information that will help solve their problems

Natalie Edgar, Director of Content, BBC Worldwide Australia & New Zealand said: “I’m thrilled that through our CBeebies global channels we’ve been able to bring this delightful and entertaining children’s series to CBeebies where it will have the whole family singing and dancing along.”

The series also features guest appearances from performers including jazz trombonist James Greening, multi-instrumentalist Richard Maegraith and classical pianist, Sally Whitwell.

8am weekdays from September 1 on CBeebies.
