Updated: The BBC has now released a full Doctor Who trailer for the upcoming series.

Meanwhile, Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman will appear live on stage at the State Theatre, Sydney as part of their Doctor Who world promo tour on Tuesday 12th August.

Long-time Doctor Who fan, Adam Spencer, will host a Q&A -including with fan questions- followed by a special screening of the feature-length series premiere.

Helen Pendlebury, Head of Live Entertainment, BBC Worldwide Australia & New Zealand said: “Australia has some of the most passionate Doctor Who fans in the world and we are delighted to offer them access to the Twelfth Doctor and his companion when they visit Sydney as part of Doctor Who: The World Tour.”

Doctor Who: The World Tour will visit five continents in 12 days stopping in Wales, London, Seoul, Sydney, New York, Mexico City and Rio de Janeiro.

Tickets will be available for general sale through Ticketmaster on Monday 21st July with www.doctorwho.tv/worldtour providing pre-sale information.

Meanwhile an unfinished version of the episode has also been leaked online following recent BBC script leaks.

The episode will be fast-tracked by the ABC on Sunday August 24th.

    Don’t know if it’s been posted yet but a production copy of the first ep has surfaced. Its in B&W, some CGI is missing or not finished and it’s covered in writing but it’s the full 75 min length… by all accounts.

    The last time I remember the leaks being this bad was the first ep of the new series ‘Rose’ back in 2005, it was also leaked just before it was due to air. I do wonder if the leaks are deliberate and aimed at ramping up interest in the show and new Doctor.
