I’m glad I didn’t go. “@XDEMILI: The line was crazy #gotexhibition pic.twitter.com/nbOqEgRVqM”

The Game of Thrones exhibition, or as we plebs call it, “catching a 3 hour train to be told to wait 4 hours or go home”. #GoTexhibition

Andrew Lau, 31, told Fairfax Media that a ticketing system and better organisation would have helped. “It’s better to be told you don’t have a ticket than to go there and be disappointed after hours of lining up,” he said. “It was just absolute chaos.”
He said people who had been queueing since 7:30am were turned away because they were in the wrong queue or holding areas. “People were fuming and arguing with security.”

They are used to dealing with Modern Art which a few people from Eastern Suburbs will queue up to see.
They should have put it the Power House Museum which is used to managing popular exhibits.
“Better organisation” is actually turning up early enough to secure yourself entry.
Could have thinned the crowd out by asking who were Foxtel subscribers 🙂
I bet that there are some Tamil asylum seekers who would prob be quite happy to wait in line for only 5-10 hrs.

A few friends of mine went – one turned up at 10:30 and was told four hours later that they wouldn’t be getting in. Another friend waited seven and a half hours and got in – but was rushed through it so quickly she was out of the place in under 30 minutes. Ticketing system probably would’ve been the way to go!!
