Amy misses out on Finals week after a Heston Blumenthal-inspired challenge about culinary deception.

MasterChef Australia has settled on its Top 6 heading into Finals Week.
Last night Amy Shields, 37, from Western Australia was eliminated leaving the show with 3 males and 3 females vying for the 2014 title.
They are:
Tracy Collins (SA),
Ben Macdonald (QLD),
Laura Cassai (SA),
Brent Owens (VIC),
Emelia Jackson (VIC),
Jamie Fleming (NSW).
Amy was eliminated in the Heston Blumenthal-inspired challenge about culinary deception, narrowly losing her chance to continue to Tracy Collins. The decision by the judges was not unanimous, we learned.
Since leaving the series, Shields has been volunteering for charity and is doing work experience at Restaurant Amuse in Perth. She is also establishing her own Miss Flames cooking classes and planning a road trip to take it around Australia.
Of the 6 remaining contestants, who is your tip to win the title?

Either of the two SA girls or Jamie I’d like to see win… but honestly, any of them would be very worthy winners.
I love this season but being a cynic I think they will want someone to sell cookbooks so I think Tracey.
Brent or Ben & at a pinch Laura…Definitely not Tracey or Emelia.
Brent & Ben have grown so much throughout the competition.
I would be happy with Tracy !
This is so hard to pick a winner, they are very close and all have exceptionally good days and not so good days.
I will pick Ben, no reason, as it is too close to call and I would be happy with any of the 6 as a winner…..but to get off the fence Ben…
Such a great series this year! I really hope to see Brent or Emelia take out the title but is honestly be happy with any of the top 6 taking it out.
