@Maev…. more likely viewers upset because arrogant programmers push in a new series be4 the finale on another network. Why could 7 not wait one week?
That behavior had a bad effect for Ten 3 years ago and only now are viewers willing to give Ten a real go.
Beware of viewer fury. Also bad time to start new series with commonwealth games on as well as tour de France imho. ;-)

  2. Maev....Sydney July 25, 2014 at 8:25 pm -

Just a thought….a lot of people…not just here…but on other sites…talked of boycotting Seven after the big drama dump…I wonder how much, or if any, is backlash…… :?:

  3. David Knox July 25, 2014 at 4:53 pm -

Not well enough for Top 20.

  4. Lincoln July 25, 2014 at 4:50 pm -

David, how did Devious Maids go?

  5. Jake S July 25, 2014 at 1:17 pm -

I’m surprised Devious Maids didn’t make the Foxtel top 20, considering how heavily promoted it has been.

  6. DanR July 25, 2014 at 11:42 am -

Congratulations, Ten. Good to see the underdog on top for a change.

Pity it won’t last. The post Masterchef offerings are uninspired and a massive missed opportunity.

  7. WolfieBoy July 25, 2014 at 11:14 am -

Good to see ONE reach 500k plus figures and Ten doing well for a change. Masterchef deserves that position at this time. 7 are getting worried – had a promo that made XFactor look like a murder mystery for Sunday night LOL. Glad Ten is getting rewards for putting on top programming against the drama queen stuff on 7 & 9. Nice new stuff coming soon as well so maybe they can stay above 20% most nights now.
Watching ONE encore right now and enjoying it :-)
Ten needs to go its own way and not follow 7 and 9. Plenty of viewers are looking for something new and/or different to switch to. No channel stays on top forever and constant repeats on 9 are also helping Ten.
Programming skills have to be spot on now to take advantage of this for post Games period :-)

  8. tricks July 25, 2014 at 10:48 am -

Wowzers… I can’t even remember the last time TEN won the night.

  9. DansDans July 25, 2014 at 10:23 am -

Family Fued not in the top 20

  10. Guy July 25, 2014 at 10:03 am -

Great to see TEN in front for a change. The Commonwealth Games were great last night and the best thing is tenplay. As all good this is, where is TEN going to be when MC, Offspring and these games are over? I don’t see anything promising coming for the last quarter of the year.

  11. Bogues July 25, 2014 at 9:55 am -

I’d be surprised to not see Ten winning the next fourteen nights. There is little in the way of competition, sans the same old singing shows.

  12. Den July 25, 2014 at 9:49 am -

Wow, TEN (Primary and network) actually won a night.
I can’t remember the last time they had a 30%+ share

  13. Josh777 July 25, 2014 at 9:48 am -

Holy crap! I did not predict such big numbers for TEN’s coverage of the Commonwealth Games. But unfortunately, as has already been said by this website and other users, TEN has very little content following MasterChef and the Games which means their ratings will only drop back behind ABC. Someone definitely dropped the buck as they could have used the last couple of weeks of MC to offer a good lead into new local and international programs which would play out the second half of the year.

  14. killy06 July 25, 2014 at 9:42 am -

Nice to see TEN in front for a change, if only for a little while.

  15. simmo3 July 25, 2014 at 9:37 am -

If only Ten had something that would rate like MC is at the moment and the Commonwealth games , all the time !

  16. Shoudy Chen July 25, 2014 at 9:32 am -

Some good numbers here for Glasgow on Ten.
