The series has been renewed for a third season.

After the tragic death of her husband, Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga) buys a motel on the outskirts of an idyllic coastal town seeking a fresh start. Her handsome and shy teenage son Norman (Freddie Highmore) quickly catches the eyes of the local girls, much to his mother’s horror. Norma and Norman soon discover the idyllic town isn’t what it seems, and the locals will do anything to protect their secret.

But the Bates are done being pushed around and they will do whatever it takes to survive–and to protect secrets of their own. When everything is most tense, an unexpected guest arrives and turns their lives upside down.

  1. I’d prefer it if they’d air another season of Grimm, or maybe Warehouse 13, before they starting airing a different old Foxtel show.
Also maybe try airing these on the multis.

  2. With you Rayne. I wish the FTA channels would do this sort of thing more often as I don’t like buying dvd sets and will definitely not pay for Foxtel.

  3. @timothyd – Why not air it? I don’t have Foxtel, I don’t download or buy DVDs. It means I can record it and have something to watch when all those endless “reality” shows are on.

  4. Why bother airing it? Its 18 months old, been on Foxtel, available for legal download and DVD – and they are showing it at 11.30pm which is actually 11:43pm. Why not continue airing those “comedies” that people have been asking for like Parks and Rec?
