Chrissie Swan will step into A Current Affair as a special guest reporter on Monday night.
Swan, who recently gave an interview to Tracy Grimshaw will present a story on a mother and son who are both battling illness.
In one of the show’s feelgood moments, volunteers will help the family in need.
The appearance could well mark the beginning of a longer relationship with Nine for the former TEN star.
Monday at 7pm on Nine.

Ms Swan is one of the most generous, beuatiful, smart , funny, talented , honest and likeable presenters on Aussie tv. Her warmth radiates, and I wish her all the best, even on gutter trash garbage like aca.
Chrissie is fantastic I love her bubbly personality and what she brings to the screen, hope we get to see more of her on tv.
Proof positive that ACA is not journalism.
And this should be classed in the same category as The Block.
Then they can’t get in trouble for lying about stories, it can be ‘based on a true story’
ACA has always done human interest stories, for that matter so have newspapers. Granted the makeover stories are more a recent inclusion. ACA does see itself as a show that champions battlers and stories where the underdog is battling the system. From memory those makeover eps have been some of their biggest raters.
Hopefully it is an exclusive contract and she won’t be able to appear on Have You Been Paying Attention any more.
I love Chrissie. It’ll be great to see her back on TV again (even if it means I have to watch ACA).
