Foundis is secret men’s business

If you were a devotee of Beauty and the Beast then you might cast your gaze over its alternate universe, Foundis, which screens on the Aurora community channel.

Foundis, who says she “gets males,” says the show was inspired by the death of her father Dino in 2011.

The former advertising copywriter turned performer has previously staged her own one-woman show in London, Edinburgh Festival and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Foundis has now received two nominations at this year’s community TV Antenna Awards including Foundis for Female Personality of the Year.

Episodes this season have tackled Testosterone, Hair (or lack of it), Love & Marriage, Anti-ageing, Prostate, Promiscuity and Beauty always from a male perspective.

The final episode with Season highlights airs on Aurora channel 183 at 7:30pm on Wednesday.
