Matchbox Pictures opens Singapore office
NBCUniversal-owned production company expands into Asia.

NBCUniversal-owned Matchbox Pictures (The Slap, Devil’s Playground, Deadline Gallipoli, The Real Housewives of Melbourne, ) has opened an office in Singapore, and has several projects underway.
Executive producer, Steven Gilfeather, oversees the operation working with NBCU Asia’s MD Christine Fellowes and Vice President Scott MacKenzie.
It is producing three bulletins per week for E! News Asia and a doco on Filipino film and TV actor and musician Piolo Pascual.
“The aim is to grow the business strategically to create new IP for international export,” Matchbox Managing Director Chris Oliver-Taylor told IF.
Meanwhile Nowhere Boys is set to screen in the UK on CBBC on 1st September, with S2 currently shooting, and the cast for The Real Housewives of Melbourne S2 will be confirmed tomorrow.
