  1. Yawn…sorry I’ve never understood gridiron. Or AFL. I tried to watch an AFL game when I first came to Australia (I’m a NZer) and completely agreed with my husband when he called it “aerial ping pong” 😀
Give me a rugby league game any day. Or rugby union (the NZ national religion 😉 ).

  2. Hard Knocks is made and shown weekly throughout training camp, good old channel 7 are showing all five episodes back-to-back…and people download shows why?

  3. Clearly 7 got a taste for this sport with their outstanding, critically lauded coverage of the Lingerie Football League and have dipped in for more. Has anyone explained though that: a) NFL is just blokes, and b) they’re not in their undies. I’m sure 7 will work it out at some point.

  4. No real difference in the coverage, when it was on One or Channel 10.

As for Channel 7’s Coverage of the AFL.

What a bloody disgraceful joke. Quite often games on A Saturday are delayed by at least 1-2 hours.

Channel 9’s coverage of the NRL, well that’s a joke as well, but at least we get lives games on Friday night, Well one live, one delayed.

Why not a live game on Sunday, Come channel 9 lift your game, along with Channel 7.

  5. Good on ch7.

Three Live games of NFL a week on FTA. One Live game and two delayed games of NRL per week on ch9. Granted the exception of a few rounds where they do Thurs night footy. Ch9 should be really proud of themselves ….
