SKY News will screen the First Shot Commemoration from Portsea today, marking the centenary of World War One.

Anchored by SKY News National Affairs Correspondent, Celina Edmonds and veteran broadcaster and journalist, Steve Liebmann, this event marks the 100th anniversary of the first shot fired in the British Empire in WWI.

From October 31, SKY News presents Live coverage of the Albany Convoy Commemoration, marking a century since the first Australian troops departed for the battlefields of Europe and Gallipoli.

On November 11, Steve and Celina will bring viewers Live coverage of the 11am Remembrance Day service from the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.

In 2015, the coverage continues during ANZAC week with SKY News 100: Lest We Forget, delivering uninterrupted Live coverage of Australians paying tribute to our diggers who paid the ultimate price at Gallipoli.

On ANZAC Day SKY News will have comprehensive Live coverage of key national and global dawn services, marches and memorial services.
