The Project: Aug 4 – 8

What will Kat Stewart and Lachy Hulme tell The Project about the future of Offspring?

2014-08-04_0105Offspring‘s Kat Stewart and Lachy Hulme will be guests on The Project on Wednesday night, so it will be interesting to hear their views on the show’s future.

Lachy Hulme is always good value for a robust comment.

Other guests include Hanson, Keira Knightly, and James Cameron (but probably not in studio).

It has been 22 years since Hanson first burst onto the world music scene with their smash-hit, MMMBop. Having sold 16 million albums worldwide, and countless sold-out concert tours, we speak to Tyler, Zac and Isaac ahead of the first show on their latest Australian tour.

Offspring favourites, Kat Stewart and Lachy Hulme joins us at the desk ahead of the Offspring season finale, which screens Wednesday, 8.45pm on TEN.

Best known for his blockbuster film, Titanic, we speak to film maker James Cameron about his latest film, Deep Sea Challenge 3D.

Our UK correspondent, Lucy McDonald sits down with Keira Knightly to chat about her new film, Begin Again.

Forensic scientist, Xanthe Mallet joins us at the desk to talk about her new book and documentary, Mothers Who Murder, which screens Thursday, 8.30pm on TEN.

Plus our regulars Steve Price, Steve Vizard, Todd Sampson, Mia Freedman, Waleed Aly, Anthony ‘Lehmo’ Lehmann and Fifi Box join us across the week.

6.30pm weeknights on TEN.

  1. How, in the internet age, is it even possible for those responsible for writing the networks’ program blurbs to get such elementary details wrong? Not that I care about Hanson or their debut single MMMBop per se, but the fact remains that it was released 17 years ago in 1997, not 22 years ago. That’s when they first performed together. Seriously, it’s as easy as a quick check of Wikipedia. How do these ppl even get these jobs?
