2014-09-19_0008Congratulations to entertainment queen Angela Bishop on reaching 25 years with TEN.

In the fickle television biz a quarter of a century is quite an achievement, especially at a network that has undergone so many cost cuts.

The ‘Bish’ has interviewed them all, both Australian and International and on many red carpets, for numerous TEN shows.

Yesterday she told Studio 10, “What feels so amazing is that I literally have grown up here.

“I’ve never worked anywhere else, effectively, but Channel TEN. Since then I’ve met my husband, got married, had my daughter Emelia -done all those sort of things and really grown up here. I’ve had friends here all that time which is really quite amazing.

“The other thing that’s interesting is to look at the way Entertainment and Arts has become a bigger part of the news cycle over that time.”

She once took me to task for having a go at her spot on a Star Wars special. Ouch! Now it’s mutual respect.

    I have always enjoyed this ladies work on TEN…cannot believe it has been that long….

    I hope TEN realise what a gem they have in Angela.

  4. A classy lady, always enjoy her interview’s congratulations. I remember on the Oscar’s red carpet Nicole Kidman telling the person who was trying to move her on “hay this is a good friend of mine” .
