“Essential and Carbon have been working on this collaboration for over 12 months. Camp Crazy fits our respective strengths extremely well and we’re very much looking forward to working with Wayne Denning and his creative team to bring the live action program to life,” said original creator and Essential Executive Producer, Carmel Travers.

“This presents a fantastic opportunity for both production houses and of course Queensland, where the series will be shot. It’s also a great opportunity to showcase such a world class location.”

“Whenever an amazing opportunity like this comes along, we embrace it. The collaboration is a first for Carbon and we can’t wait to bring the program to life” said Wayne Denning of Carbon Media.

Producers intend to work closely with Screen Queensland on the project, but a broadcaster is yet to be announced.
