Nine viewers in Perth will be getting their own local special Matt and Kim To The Rescue next month.
The a 90-minute renovation special sees former WA-based Block contestants Matt and Kim come to the aid of the Napoli family of Belmont whose 10 year old Rocco Jnr was diagnosed with a rare and debilitating brain tumour.
Hosted by Nine News presenters Libby Stone and Michael Thomson it will also include Darren McMullen, Dennis Lillee, Eagles players Dean Cox and Andrew Embley, Nova 93.7’s Nathan, Nat and Shaun and Robbie from The Voice: Kids.
Nine has found room in its local schedule because the Live NRL Grand Final will be over by approxiamtely 6:30pm Perth time.
“This is the night of the NRL Grand final live and with the three hour time difference it creates the perfect opportunity for Nine Perth to create local content opportunities without interrupting the network schedule,” STW9 managing director David Mott told TV Tonight.
“It is also a far more competitive lineup for Nine Perth rather than running repeats of shows when live sporting event time differences affect primetime.”
