Returning: The Walking Dead (SBS 2)

Season 3 is "slow-tracked" to SBS 2 next week.

2014-10-15_1943The Walking Dead returns to SBS 2 next week “slow-tracked” for its Season 3 free-to-air premiere.

Its 8 episodes begin with a double season premiere.

These aired in the US two years ago.

Sherriff Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln, and his band of survivors as they not only continue fight the dead, but also face a whole new fear: the living.

Episode One: Seed (9.25pm)
With the world growing increasingly more dangerous and Lori’s pregnancy advancing, Rick discovers a potentially safe haven. But first he must secure the premises, pushing his group to its limit.

Episode Two: Sick (10.15pm)
After a traumatic event, a life hangs in the balance. Complicating matters, the group must also deal with a potential threat to their new surroundings.

Tuesday, 21 October on SBS 2.

  1. Only 30% of households have Foxtel. We are one of the 70% who don’t, so I am enjoying catching up with this series, even if it is “slow tracked”. 🙂

  2. I too watch it on FTA, don’t have Foxtel and don’t plan to. don’t wanna pay up to $50 on the dvds either.

    David, there’s 16 episodes in Season 3.. not 8.

  3. “Why bother…”
    Well, I for one, don’t have Foxtel and haven’t gotten around to seeing this yet so I’m happy with the slow-tracking. At least they’re being up front and honest which is more than you can say about commercial promos.

    Tuesday is a good night for it as there is nothing decent on and I’ve been using it to catch up. However, with a double-ep it would be better starting earlier. I mean, do we really need yet another fly-on-the-wall show about young Brits going overseas, getting pissed, hurting themselves, and catching venereal diseases? Leave that junk for ABC2.
