Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond are in the Northern Territory in what appears to be filming for the BBC’s Top Gear.
News Corp reports they were spotted driving a bright yellow Bentley Continental, a Nissan GTR and a BMW M3.
There is speculation that filming will take place along the 276km open speed section of the Stuart Highway north of Alice Springs.
The BBC show has filmed in numerous territories including Europe, Africa, South America, North America, Asia, Middle East and Magnetic North Pole.
A spokesperson for BBC Worldwide said: “I will not be giving out any details of Top Gear’s forthcoming trip.”
Going filming tomorrow. Will check number plate before setting off.

I assume this has something to do with the recent removal of speed limits on some roads in the NT
Sounds interesting, hope they are driving from Darwin to Alice, or maybe all the Way south or to Yulara.
@narocos300 That’s the point, they always choose unsuitable cars for these sort of things and that’s what makes it funny.
“Bentley Continental, a Nissan GTR and a BMW M3”
Neither of those cars would survive the really hard yaka buSs!
There all high powered sports cars better on road than off.
Better for the those tinnted glasses city Folk rather than taken accross the nullabor.
hopefully they all get bogged in mile high sand!
You’d think they’d drive Aussie cars if they were in Australia, at least one of them with a Falcon or Commy would suffice. Nevertheless I gave up on Top Gear a long time ago, I think it’s time they did too.
I want to see them drive the Nullarbor!
